  1. The Romanian leader of a large mission group just had major surgery on an achilles tendon that will require much rehabilitation. Their annual staff conference is coming up the last week in August. Pray that what Satan plans for evil, God would use to produce even greater fruitfulness in the months to come for this country-wide ministry.
  2. Pray for churches and ministries to come along side the Romanian Church in unity and love to strengthen each other and their witness to the country.
  3. Praise & Prayer: Praise the Lord for our 12th summer of Camp Joy! (Hope for Romania) Over 1000 children give their lives to Christ. The church in Nusfalau got a facelift thanks to help from American church volunteers. Several new churches are being built near the Ukrainian border. Please pray for the spiritual growth of these new young believers and for the timely completion of these new churches.

Religious freedom is a treasured, but threatened gain following a long history of Communism. The government has set tight restrictions for the registration and activity of religious groups that are not directly connected to the Orthodox Church.
